Discovering Tsushima, Japan

This week’s pictures feature shots I took around Tsushima, Japan, which is the closest territory to the Korean Peninsula. We took off from the port of Busan and took around two hours by boat to make our way over to Izuhara Port.

Forests, covering 90% of the island, consist of broad-leafed evergreens, conifers, and deciduous trees including cypress.

Tsushima sees around 200,000 Korean tourists each year, with many of them being biking and camping enthusiasts. This small Island is definitely a great destination for nature lovers.

A rental car is the best way to see the island, as the bus system is fairly limited and does not directly visit most tourist sites.

Hope you enjoy my pics.

Explore. Dream. Discover.
