“Nobody sees the obvious, nobody observes the ordinary. There are more miracles in a square yard of earth than in all the fables of the Church.” Robert Anton Wilson
Hello my name is Ivan Campuzano, I am nobody, just like everyone else. I feel that deep down we all go through major conflicts because of the constant struggle of trying to be somebody, we all believe to be somebody. We all yearn to be extraordinary, or we believe that we are already that.
I feel that to deeply know that one is ordinary and live life as such, is truly the most extraordinary thing in this world. Everyone is trying to be extraordinary; it is the most ordinary thing.
I now find myself going in the opposite direction. That is actually incorrect as well because trying to be nobody is still trying to be somebody, just on a different and very subtle level. I would say I am just learning to simply “be”, a state of being beyond description. Language is very ineffective and quite tricky in trying to accurately convey what one feels deeply inside.
I just want to re-introduce myself and figure out what role blogging plays in my life.
This site has served as a way for me to express my ideas, in hopes that I could contribute something positive, but I am not sure how helpful or valuable you have found it to be. I am not very active in the blogosphere because I seek to not try and compare myself to other bloggers(people in general), so as a consequence, I have not really built a community or grown my site the way I think it should have.
If you have been a silent reader of mine, I would like you to reach out to me and let me know whether you enjoy what I do, as it will influence what role this blog plays in my life and in the lives of others.
If you really find my writings to be valuable, let me know. Let me know what you like or don’t like. What topics would you like me to write about? How could I make the site more valuable to you? Should I add a forum? (Post your comments below or send me a message at ivan@ivancampuzano.com)
If I feel like I am really making a difference and that you guys care, I will try in my best capacity to provide valuable insights for you. Otherwise, If I see that I am really not making any impact, I will just post whenever I feel Inspired or may stop blogging altogether.
Right now I am in a space of just doing whatever feels good, enjoying my life one day at a time. Goals have taken on a whole new dimension for me. Not sure at all where I am headed but I am having a blast :). I really appreciate your feedback, as it will greatly influence how I proceed with blogging. Much love, your friend Ivan Campuzano.
I really enjoy your posts. I can’t say that I follow you regularly – but the random times I do read your tweets/blogs, I’m inspired. If you’re doing what you enjoy, I think that will show up in your work, whether it’s a commitment to make the blog more, or it’s more just a space for your ideas as they come to you. Thanks.
Blogging serves all sorts of purposes.
Sometimes it is just a product, just another element of social network marketing, produced to bring folks to your site, so they can learn you have other products.
Sometimes, it’s just a public journal, where you hope serendipity will bring folks who might benefit from your musings.
Sometimes it can even be a bit of both.
However, when any part of it i’s product, it needs to be produced regularly / reliably, to maintain the marketing flow to the rest of your “empire”.
If there’s no “product” to it, then write as it pleases you, as you feel inspired to share your thoughts freely with the world.
I hope this helps.
Anne
I enjoy reading your blog. It’s very kind of you to share your thoughts and adventures with us. Lets us see parts of the world we may never know otherwise. Keep up the good work.
Dude, Ivan, stop trying to be a blogger guy and grow communities, and “grow your site like you were SUPPOSED to”. You and I both know that it’s foolhardy to do what people THINK you should do. Just do your own thing. You have over 2000 subscribers doing that – that’s pretty good, if I do say so myself. I can only dream of such metrics, haha!
Write whatever you want, whenever you want. People evolve. Follow your intuition. It’s the best guide in times when you’re a little uncertain.

Oh, and this also serves as your friendly reminder to get back to me about that email I sent you a few days ago 🙂

Your posts have been very inspiring and uplifting for me. Please continue to write. Any topics. You are making a bigger contribution than you may realize. Keep going Ivan!
p.s.: please verify the usage of the word “where” and “were” … just a minor grammatical thing, I was waiting for someone to point it out to you, but so far no one has. Thought I might as well, because I care.
Blogging is whatever you make of it. Continue! Your blogs are always full of positive messages, and even if they only help you, they’re helping someone 🙂

I enjoy your blog posts. I’m glad that they aren’t daily, gives me time to absorb and digest.

To the first part, Im with you on every level.. its ego vs. consciousness. I for one try to live my life in a conscious state of being.. i feel more free and alive. i feel more connected to every life essence. that is very spiritual. I feel “poor in spirit” no baggage, identifications, or ties, I am a light free spirit.
As for your blogs, i think you should only post when you are inspired, but look for inspiration daily. Dont worry if your helping people or not cause its not only about everyone else.. its about ur own growth as well. everything you give to others you give ur self first or what validation do u have for it? as for me i only share things i have tested on myself, therefore i know it works and its right.
and people will read, but they will only get it when they are ready to get it. but trust sooner or later they will understand. just have faith in what you do and dont give up on it.
Thank you Pamela :)…I really do appreciate you being a regular reader of mine…much love…take care 🙂 @pamela:
Thanks for contributing Mike :)…thats some good feedback…and I feel ya 😉 @MicSantacruz:
Hi Ivan, I enjoy your blogs and go back to it on times that the topic relate to my present life situation. I hope to blog one day, but I have thought of my intentions for doing it. I would blog as an expression of myself, my life, my experiences. I feel at times that I have something to say and the blog space is like a piece of paper helpful in clearing my mind. I even want to blog about hot cocoa. I get thoughts, “who would care about hot cocoa”, that made me hesitate, but no, I just want to write about it, so I would. I have a twitter account, and I have followers. But I never solicit numbers, nor do I have a goal to reach thousands of followers. It just keeps growing on its own. But that’s because I do not have the ego going crazy about being popular, known or extraordinary. I just want to tweet.
Enjoy your blog. Write what you want, when you want it. I like your videos too. Please continue that, as a form of expression. Plus, its really cool, to watch.
There is no need to perform for us, so you don’t have to think what would appeal to your readers, release that thought. Please just write what you feel, when you want to.
Thank you my friend 🙂 very encouraging feedback 🙂 @Marie:
Hey Ivan,
I have to say that there are many blogs of your nature in existance but what distinguishes yours is your honesty, humility and relatability.
I love your posts because it is so clear there is no hidde agenda and it is apparent that you do ONLY blog when inspired, you don’t feel the need to post just for the sake of posting.
Given your dilema, I say follow your heart, whatever decision you decide on we will all be at peace with and support 🙂
but on a last note, I do absolutely LOVE your blog 🙂
Hope this helps!

thank you so much Teresa 🙂 your thoughts really mean a lot to me :)…hope things are well in canada and that your travel plans are taking shape…be well my friend 🙂 @Teresa Bialkowska:
Ivan, I think your blog is great. I follow you via Twitter and RSS. I’ve forwarded your thoughts and posts on to friends occasionally, but I don’t think I’ve commented much. However, that has nothing to do with lack of interest. In fact, it’s probably the opposite. Your most interesting posts often force me to think about or reevaluate things, a process that needs to play out in my head before I can comment.
Hope this helps.
I enjoy reading your blog posts, I find them easy to understand and interesting.
Howdy. I too enjoy casually reading your blog. I find myself on a similar quest…isn’t that what life seems to be to most of us?
peace.
thank you so much andre 🙂 I appreciate your help 🙂 @Andre:
Thank you so much 🙂 @Mary Woolf:

Your voice – whether whispered out like unfurling fog, or spoken in crisp font on this blog – is contributory.
And whether you are a Somebody, or a Nobody….you ARE a body – an entity of energy…energy that will affect and influence – regardless of the medium in which you choose to express.
We convert. We exchange. We contribute. We influence. It’s what energy does. It’s what humans do.
I suspect the trick to elegant and impactful evolution is to find ways to do what’s natural to us in artful, innovative, ultra-conscious ways.
ivan! i say keep doing your thing. your blog has opened doors for me and helpd me to develop myself. Even if your posts only effected people on a subconcious level youd still be pumping a positive energy into the world. Each one of us has to make the decision to make a difference really, i have always found your words inspiring, youve made a massive difference for me personally.
if you decide to end your blogging quest now you have achieved alot!
great thoughts 🙂 I feel you 🙂 thank you so much Avia :)…I really appreciate you taking the time to reach out to me 🙂 @Avia Venefica:
I really appreciate the Shaun 🙂 I am delighted that I have some how assisted you :)…thanks for letting me know what you think…I really appreciate your support :).. be well my friend 🙂 @shaun:
I’ve followed for awhile on twitter and occasionally popped in here to catch up. Insightful posts. Today’s reminded me to stop trying so hard to live in the future. If I will simply be and be in the moment I will find my way as I go and can do that in peace rather than the turmoil that comes with trying to direct the universe on my behalf. Yes. You add value to my days in your notes. Grateful.

I don’t think that everyone on the Internet is aggressively marketing themselves to reach millions of people. Sometimes the simple act of writing your thoughts in a place where people can find them is enlightening, for you and for your readers. Even if only a few people were reading this blog, one person passing along something they took from your writings could inspire many others that never have seen them firsthand.
In other simpler language, I enjoy your writing and it has given me many things to think about. I certainly hope that you will continue to blog here, even occasionally, but what you have already shared with the world is a great resource. Thank you for that.
Thank you 🙂 and I wish you the best on your journey :)… @Susan:
thank you 🙂 it means a lot to get this feedback :)….@Maria:
