A Rainy Day At Bulguksa Temple

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.” – Buddha

Today I would just like to share with you a little video of my recent trip to Bulguksa Temple, In Gyeongju, South Korea. Bulguksa is a head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. The temple is considered by many as a masterpiece of the golden age of Buddhist art from the Silla Dynasty.

While strolling around admiring many of it’s treasures I couldn’t help but feel a serene sense of beauty engulf me.  I love the feeling you get when you are transported to another time. In an environment like this it’s quite easy to feel peaceful and forget the hustle and bustle of city life.

As I mention in the video below, before moving to Korea I knew very little about it, but as I continue to live here I have realized how truly amazing this country is. If you have ever thought about coming to Asia, I encourage you to do a little research on Korea, it has so much to offer. Check out my post on the : Top 10 Things I Love About Living In South Korea
